I was moved by Veljko Mihajlovic’s prints on exhibit at the National Academy of Art, Academia Gallery. I am not usually affected by spiritual art, but as I looked at his church interiors I realized I am in awe of how masterfully he defines the intangible. Angels in the Middle Ages is part of the 22nd International Congress of Byzantine Studies going on in Sofia this August.
